Saw-Toting Duo Flees With $25K Worth Of Liquor From Long Island Business

If you recognize these thirsty bandits, police want to hear from you.

Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men seen on video breaking into a Long Island liquor store and stealing thousands of dollars in merchandise.

The burglary occurred at around 11:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, in Smithtown, at The Wine Guy Liquor Store located on West Main Street.

Suffolk County Police said the suspects used a saw to cut the store’s lock. Once inside, they grabbed numerous bottles valued at nearly $25,000.

The men then fled in a silver GMC Acadia Denali.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest.
